Cute kid. Now where is that daily affirmation when you need it?

There should be an app that will say each one of those “affirmations” at the push of a button.

I’m positive you kids will keep it down, if you know what’s good for you.

You spend two years teaching them to walk and talk, and sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.

As far as, “You kids are going to drive me crazy!”, it’s too late – it has already occurred.

Back when TV stations actually had a beginning and end to their broadcast day, I recall the broadcast day would start with the National Anthem followed by the “Word of the Day” which was a daily affirmation of sorts. They would pad out the rest of the 15-minute slot with some intriguing and bizarre ancient black & white cartoons (which I assume they aired only because the copyright had expired). Then the local Farm Report kicked in and it was all downhill from there.

How about, “Boy this looks like it’s going to be another duzy”. It’s very versatile and fits almost any situation.
