Now, that is one sound sleeping bird. I often wonder how it is that Frank Burns of MASH doesn’t wake up when Hawkeye and Trapper put his right arm in a cast. Or, encase his whole body in a crate with holes in it, and a multitude of other pranks we only hear about. And, yet, this is the same FB, ole weak lips, that woke up when his hand was put into a bowl of water or his feet were sprinkled with snow. It’s a wonder.
I don’t think it is the feathers alone that allows a bird to fly. Most birds are light and made for flight. People are not made to fly. Alas, there goes my dream to fly like Superman!
