If the Republicans have their way, all women will go back to being second class citizens.

It’s a shame the “Republicans” — consumed by a hate-driven authoritarian pseudo-theocracy in their desperation to survive — have no shame and are unaffected by what the majority of Americans think. Why are full turnout fair elections, freedom of and from religions, fair trade with other nations, diversity, education, equality, civility, and democracy so hated/feared by “Republicans”?

Women are going to die. Except for the rich: they get flown by private jet to get a safe, medical abortion. Thanks a lot, GOP.

Welcome to the American Taliban and Evangelical Sharia Law. A huge backward step has being taken into the 18th century when women were considered chattel, second class citizens without intelligence, and subservient to their husbands or any other male.

The Nazis could scarcely inflict a greater horror on a woman than forcing her to carry her rapist’s child and to be charged with raising that living reminder of her trauma. It’s the Republican (Christian?) thing to do.

Good, we’ve banned abortions and stopped sex ed in schools. Now let’s try to figure out why are there so many fatherless children in America.

It is important to constantly remind those of the conservative persuasion that being controlled by the christian Taliban will severely affect their lives as well.

Some people think that primary elections mean something more important that they actually do. I noticed that the Democratic primaries didn’t have hotly contested election campaigns which very well might have affected the turn-out. Then too, there are some people who never vote in the primaries regardless. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens in November. I’m hoping, not that I expect it, that this Kangaroo Court debacle will cause massive turn-out and swamp the American Taliban into oblivion.

@B 8671 – This a blatant falsehood which liberals have hooked onto. Why? Simpletheir over all agenda is failing big time. Biden stumbles around spouting off nonsensegiven to him by his progressive aids. Notice how quickly protestors sprung up withprinted signs. Emails sent with home locations of conservative Justices. That is theway they work. Disruption is their only agenda!!

Filling out some paperwork a while back, the agent asked my marital status. I replied, “Married”. She asked my wife’s name and I gave her first name, then pointed out that she had a different last name. The agent looked up and said, “I thought you said you were married!” I looked at the agent and said, “Yeah, I married her, I didn’t buy her.” (True incident.)

While I’m sure the right wants to control women, it all has more to do with increasing the population. More kids means churches are able to renew their dwindling flocks.Schools get paid by head count, less kids equal less revenue. And most importantly we are a consumer oriented society…less kids means less profit for corporations.

The larger problem is they are not only making abortions illegal, they are outright criminalizing what can be a life saving procedure. What should be a private medical decision made by the woman or girl seeking one to save her life, by allowing her to go forward in hers.

The answer to abortion has always been simple. Don’t believe in abortions? Don’t get one. That simple.

For you stupid antivaxxers out there, should not be mistaken for vaccinations during a pandemic, that goal was to protect everyone from serious illness and slow, if not stop the spread. The later only possible if everyone that could was vaccinated. It’s because of foolish antivaxxers and more not being done to vaccinate poorer countries, that Covid is still a thing. Not being vaccinated can effect everyone around them, especially those that can’t get vaccinated. Though, as the boosters get better for Covid, the vaccinated really won’t worry about your poor decision making abilities, and will be more than happy to let you remain unvaccinated. As, we won’t be the one’s dying or being saddled with huge medical bills for long Covid hospital stays. I certainly won’t lose any sleep every time a foolish antivaxxer dies.

Perhaps they should just take a cue from the Taliban. They have just decreed that in order to preserve the ‘dignity and safety’ of their sisters, all the women must wear head to toe burqas. I don’t know much about how things were when they still had a monarchy over there but pictures from the time show women wearing stylish, modest, western style clothing.
