Who says machines are dumb.

I feel sorry for Cliff. Even the hologram girlfriend doesn’t want to be with him.

She looks a little sketchy to me.

You figure the programmer who created this must have been lonely, very lonely. But we are seeing another drawback for AI. Besides the standard ‘the machines may try and take over the world’ they may also develop a sense of taste in who they want to be seen with.

Is she AC or DC?

holograms lives matter too

Given Cliff’s nature, I’m surprised he didn’t program a female hologram to look a bit more “exaggerated.”

That’s fine up to a point. I would like to see Cliff try to put his arm around her.

Digital data has feelings — including pride — too, you know.

Actually, if it had consciousness, “I think, therefore I am,” would apply. You should treat it as a person. (This despite the fact some persons are not treated like persons.)

“It’s just not working out, Cliff. We’re just so ‘out of phase’ with each other…”

Not sure this is one step up or one step down from “game girls”. You hire them online to play mulitple-player games with you and say encouraging things after you’ve gotten your whole platoon wiped out. I wish I were kidding.

If cliff, uh, well um……“uploads his data feed to her port” won’t he get electrocuted?

Why does she look like a blonde Pam?

Looks like Cliff is having a short-circuited affair.

So I guess a second date is out of the question, again.

Even holographic girlfriends need “safe words”.

Dave Lister would have preferred Kristine Kochanski to Arnold Rimmer as his holgraphic companion.

She may be artificial, but she’s intelligent.

She may “only” be AI (artificial intelligence) but by golly it works like the real thing.

Lucky for Cliff, holograms don’t have a sense of smell!

AI getting more real all the time.

Just proof that technology can’t solve all our problems, which we’ve known for a long time. To wit:
