Seriously, Luann? You’re just as ludicrous as Baldo Bermudez a few days ago who hired a maid to clean his room (and then shortly fired her).

Long story short, Luann wishes she were in the old Tiffany’s shoes.

I thought Luann was in college. Is this a reprint from her middle school years?

“I mean people I actually PAY to do it.”

To be fair I think she meant more than one person.

Enabling much mom? She’s in college and you handle all of her finances, appointments etc? Help with meals and laundry as a student/worker is certainly appreciated but how can she learn if someone does it all for her!

Can anyone picture her dorm room? Remember why she and Bern are so close? Why she has her dog in the park regularly? Why most of her contact with other students are either in class or on the street???

I’m having a crisis at home here when it comes to todays strip. This morning I woke up at my Uncle Morty and Aunt Toot’s house (I go every weekend for their Sunday ham and waffles breakfast) and I could hear my Uncle Morty exclaiming “HAR HAR HAR HAR HACK HAR HAR”

I went into the kitchen, and my Uncle was holding on to the comics starting at todays Luann laughing over and over again.

My Aunt Toots, of a sensitive constitution, was a distraught and told me he has been doing this as of late hoping to find the joke in Luann – he thinks that if he laughs 1000 times finally he will get the joke.

Please be funnier – the lack of humor is TEARING MY FAMILY APART (I will still come by for ham and waffles tho no matter what).

As long as her mother does everything for her, why would she take any responsibility for anything in her life.?

They always end up portraying Luann with the maturity level of a twelve year old. All of the other characters are growing up and becoming self sufficient, but she remains an unrealistic, oblivious, self-absorbed, delusional dummy. Are they intending to portray her as developmentally challenged? She doesn’t seem to be at the same level as her peers. It’s the only reason I can think of for her naivety and parents who coddle her.

Honestly. If Mom and Pop are still doing all that for her at her age, it’s not Luann’s fault. She might still live at home while going to school but she can do everything for herself if they’ll quit doing it for her. She should be doing her own laundry and taking a regular turn at cooking meals for the whole family. Parents need to step back on the parenting and let the young lady practice “adulting”.

That’ll be practically impossible, what with the economy and all.

If y’all had just saved up some money to help your kid (who at least has been trying to work), Luann could be independent. Just sayin’.

Hey Luann…. What’s the status of your hope chest these days?

Whatever it is, don’t marry her. If you do, you’ll be the staff.

Okay, I get it GnK aren’t worried about the troglydyte trolling that the main (MONEY) character goes through, but given the nearly 40 uear success of the streip the trolls are only using her theme of youthful, useless youth to troll, I think partly because of generational jealousy. Remember Brad? How he changed when he was involved with and eventually married Toni Daytona, and became a first responder? Luann will do something of the same thing one day.
