That’s two hats damaged by Walter. B.O.‘s hat appeared to have sustained minor damage (although it could have been like that before the owl attacked), but Tracy’s hat is kind of destroyed. I wonder if it’s a potential addition to his famous hat wall.

Tracy wants Mr. Memory downtown for a “talk,” so I guess that was an arrest warrant, rather than a search warrant?

“And leave my delightful dining companions? You are a churlish cad, sir!”

well, isn’t Mems as calm as you please… cool as a cucumber… yeah, and then he EATS it… LOL…

Wally brought the hat just like playing a game of fetch. If he were a Lab Memory would be in a “game” of tug o’ war. He ever plays the kindly gentleman, but Tracy will confirm it is just ‘cover material’. And what about that GPS hiccup ?

And the hat replies, “Bdya, bdya, that’s wall, folks”…

If you read Skin-Horse, you know birds don’t like hats.

Will they at least let Mr. Memory finish his meal with the Plenty’s?

Is Tracy’s invitation includes the computer of Mr, Memory? It should be as that computer has a lot of things to say.

Memory’s cyber implants are powerful enough to interfere with GPS signals. It might explain why he’s working in a relatively isolated area. Wonder what it will do to the electronics at police headquarters when they question him?

I wonder how many hats Tracy has on his wall?

B.O. is about to become either a witness or an alibi.

Will this be the first hat for Tracy’s wall where the hole wasn’t made by a gunshot? :)

Can owls be trained and kept as pets? I’m surprised that Walter didn’t poop on Tracy.

I’m also surprised that after being attacked by the bird, Tracy didn’t demand to see his US Fish and Wildlife Service permit to keep a wild bird. Tracy seems awfully calm and polite after being attacked. “Mr.” Memory instead of just Memory? Awfully polite.

Aha! Very much as I suggested yesterday! Memory says, as I said, that Walter is very territorial. Tracy’s fedora is talon-torn and a top candidate for “the Wall” of battle-scarred fedoras that he maintains. As for the little talk downtown that Tracy requests, Mr. Memory so far has no reason to fear: the cops know very little, not enough to charge him with anything without further corraboration….
