Janis is just trying to moderate her ice cream intake.

…but Arlo, why did you lose the smile you had when you first found the ice cream cup?

Was that the only cup of ice cream in the freezer? I would have taken an unopened one.

She also has more self control than you, Arlo. (Also more than me!)

My wife will not hang a new roll of toilet paper on the hanger to save her life. She will let the spent toilet paper tube with shards of paper hang on the hanger, even as a new roll will sit on the counter. I will ignore it to make a point…..but nope…..new roll will sit on the counter. A day or two later I give in, and hang it myself.

Gawd, I love her…..

The things you put up with because you love her.

My wife does the same thing, luckily I don’t care for ice cream so it’s not an issue!

Is he eating the rest of what she started, or did he get his own?

What Janis starts Arlo has to finish.

Does she eat the toppings off the pizza too like mine does?

My wife’s way of doing things. Eat 90%, save until I either trash it a week later or eat it my self.

JJ has frequently been charged with peeking in our windows for source material. He must have been at someone else’s house because wifey here will not do this.

And wives & girlfriends complain about US doing that!

never happen in my house. We MUST have equals in dessert. Like not watching a streaming show in advance.

Then there are the ones who pick up the milk carton, think “not enough left to drink” and put it back.

Am I the first to note that my wife has to remind herself about the things she loves about me? For the life of me I can’t understand why she’s put up with me for 49 years, most days I can’t stand living with myself! We believe that’s what a good marriage is all about, you love someone in spite of, not because of. Gee, come to think of it, isn’t that how God loves us?

My wife never throws out anything that’s eatable. Instead, she’ll store it in the refrigerator until it’s no longer eatable.

Those tiny containers hold only 1/3rd cup of ice cream. All or none it since putting it back after scooping is gross and impurities have been introduced that will affect the quality.

When you use those little cups, you pop the icecream out in bigger bowl, add chocolate syrup, pecans and whipped cream.

My wife says she hates pepperoni which I love. When we order we usually get separate pizzas because of this. Every time she always reaches over and takes a pepperoni off my pizza. Drives me crazy but like Arlo I remind myself it’s one of those quirks that I love about her so I don’t say anything while I grit my teeth, lol.

A few bites? That cup only holds a few bites.

My wife and I have separate cartons of ice cream. Hers is sugar-free and mine is not. We use separate coffee cups and drinking glasses, and by long-standing convention mine is always on the left and hers on the right.

Hey, it gives you a reason to finish them off…..

I call this type of mildly annoying behavior and ‘endearing foible’….

It’s better than leaving just a bite or two in the cup.

Maybe it’s because those few bites remind her that little ice cream cups like that are usually low quality and don’t taste all that good.

Mark the one she started and let her go back to it if she wants more instead of starting another one.

And why is she eating between meals – doesn’t she eat enough at meals?
