And those angels are correct. There are three ways to confirm predestination:
For the Christian, there are several verses like Psalm 139:16. “You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book.”
For the physicist, there’s Einstein’s quote, “God does not play dice with the universe.” Although this is controversial, it was gospel to my university physics professor who taught us that, “If at any point in time we knew the position and movement of all matter in the universe, we would know all that has happened, and all that is going to happen.”
For the rest of us, we accept that our brains are like a computer, and the hardware we begin with is inherited, beyond our control. Likewise, the software is a combination of instinct, also beyond our control, and input from our environment. An infant has no control over its environment; and when it begins making decisions that affect its environment, those decisions will be based on software already acquired; and all subsequent decisions will be based on the results of those first decisions.
Yes…we ALL have a choice to accept Jesus as our personal savior or decide that we’re going to live our lives the way we want. Unfortunately, most of the world adopts the latter attitude.

If you don’t have free will, but you think you do, does it matter?

Just because someone knows what’s going to happen, doesn’t mean it wasn’t a choice.

I behave as if I have free will because, really, what choice do I have?
