Q.E.D. This has probably been discussed many times in the past with great philosophers and their wives. I figure that’s why Socrates’s wife was so irritable.
My wife and I have had a difference of opinion on what to do with a clean towel after used once after showering. I say, hang it up and after about 3 uses, wash it. She wants it washed and dried after every use. What say you?
Saw a cartoon about a son visiting his parents who tell him there’s a guest toothbrush in the bathroom if he needs it. He says it looks like it’s been used and they reply “Well you are not the only guest we’ve had, son”
Except for good towels, Earl you spoke on for guests, we only had one guests come here brought a little food made us feel special, my husband and I, when I was really worse shape from lower hip fracture then broke, then only my sister/husband come on Sundays. For my lower hip fracture then found out I did stupid cause break, I am following Orthopedic Dr.’s orders, I also requested home health, slowly helping. My fear of 8 steps is easing up. The pain is going down as long as I do not do wrong. There was no surgery or cast or wrap around my hip to help my left side. We do not have guests towels as no one stays long. Outside the couple and my sister/husband no one else comes. So I agree with Earl.
My guess is nobody wants to come over because it’s uncomfortable to hear Opal treating her husband like trash. Nobody wants to be around a mean old lady.

Who is Opal expecting to visit? Russell and Wendy Nelson?

Guests never use the guest towels, they don’t want to get them dirty apparently.

I have an extra BR, never gets used, sometimes I’ll walk by and wash the towels…I don’t know why!

My son was upset when I used a kitchen towel to wipe my hands at his house. He said it was just for decoration.

When I’m a guest, I don’t want to use someones’ decorative guest towels anyway.
I’m betting Nelson their grandson (their guest) is taught not to use them either.
Just use your pants. It’s the only safe way.

I never use the guest towels or guest soap, even when I’m the guest. Subliminal intimidation.

Her logic is unassailable!
Unassailable is a French word, means ’’don’t even think about challenging it’’.

You can’t argue that logic!

Yes, we do, Opal. It’s because you don’t wash the towels often enough.
