Good thinking. I always tried to spy out good sledding spots while I was hunting in the fall. I was usually right, but I rarely got back to them because the snow was too deep.
Let’s hope the depth of the snow doesn’t just almost cover the flag so no one gets uncomfortably impaled. I agree, that is the best spot for sledding, but once you are on your way downhill, it’s not like you have a lot of options other than keep going or jumping or falling off. I think they still plan to start from the top.

The rocks under the snow will keep it interesting. Don’t pass the kid with the stuffed tiger on the way down. Pack a first aid kit on the toboggan.
