You’re correct there Hammie, it wasn’t a comet. However, it was a meteorite and it was WWWAAAYYY bigger than a soccer ball, so consider yourself lucky.

Actually, it was an asteroid approximately 6 mi (10 km) in diameter.

A bit of a nod to Calvin and Hobbes, including a verbing that weirds language!

This is clearly inspired by Calvin and Hobbes. Nice when they make nods to the classics.
