I did a paper mache sculpture once. It looked like it was done by the 6 year old I was.

One thing I never did figure out about sculpting. Stone, soap or wax. Where is the best place to start?

When it comes to eating, you sure have to hand it to Venus de Milo.

I read somewhere that the way the ancients made such wonderful perfect marble statues was they made a full body mold of the subject, ground marble into powder, and with some kind if cementing agent they poured that into the mold.
