Most of those buttons do not work, the lights are programmed when to be green or red! Buttons just there to make you feel important! Well some DO work I guess!

Some buttons covered by membrane overlays have a creepy organic feel.

Some people just like pushing buttons.

Buttons are there to keep you from just stepping out into traffic. But it’s a ‘public works’ device and working/not working is always iffy for those.

As if pushing the button did any good anyway.
