Fourth frame, “Poof”, the treehouse is gone and Wiz is back home waking up in bed saying to himself, “ what a nightmare”

It was a great hiding place for awhile, anyway.

After the leaves fall, you can see all the squirrel nests up in the trees.

There is an oak tree in my back garden. I brought it home years ago from Home depot in my VW and planted it. It is now as tall as my house and after pruning the dead branches under the canopy this week I can stand up under the branches and not need to stoop to enjoy it’s shade.

Where’s his satellite dish?

I have a tree right outside my window that today turned bright red. It was taking it’s time getting the color this year. It will, within a few days, drop it’s leaves, possibly during a rain or some wind, pretty much like the Wiz’s tree did. Like a leaf dump. Personally I am not expecting a spectacular color change this year, but I really can’t explain why. I could get up tomorrow and all the trees will be so beautiful.

Drat! She found my secret hiding place….

The heck with being ware of the ides of March, the wizard needs to be ware of the marcescence of October.

The trees where I live are still relatively full, but many of them are blazing red, bright yellow, or pumpkin orange. Maybe Wiz should hide in an evergreen next time.

Somewhere there is the key to successful marriage, but it eluded me. Not complaining…

Ah yes. So Wiz finally joined Calvin’s G.R.O.S.S. club.
