How do you know this strip was written ahead of time? The current temp in Michigan is 16°F

Speaking of wintry things, Robert Frost rests easy tonight, knowing that his “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” isn’t going to be displaced by this particular holiday poem.

I love that and read it aloud, it has a lovely meter.

Really like the text in this one. It’s a philosophy well worth remembering.

Merry Christmas everyone. God bless us all. But if you need to run with a flashlight, you should buy a treadmill, or eat more carrots.

I’ve learned a lot about running from this strip, but not how to keep your lungs from hurting when it’s 12 degrees F outside..

Wonderful but mispronouncing forte is chalk on a blackboard to me.

You’re not going to be doing it dressed like that around here: the wind chill is -3 this morning.

Frazz thinks he lives on variety but like a lot of exercise addicts – myself included- he’s a slave to his workout routine.

That was me out running at 4:30 am today! Christmas morning is a great time to run because everybody’s inside, there’s almost no traffic, and you’ve almost got the whole wide world to yourself. It’s right up there with Thanksgiving. My two favorite running mornings of the year.

Since no one else had said so, I will- what a beautiful poem. Most inspiring thing I’ve read this Christmas. Thank you Jef.

Not running this Christmas, I think I have a foot fracture. Can’t get to a doc over the holidays of course! But I also love running at Christmas especially at night.
