If you have an old refrigerator in the garage, you could use a bicycle chain and lock to seal it shut. If the children break into it, they might learn something while breaking into it.
Never had to really hide the gifts for our daughters. Wife and I wrapped them at night after they went to bed, of the day we bought them and they went under the tree. The gifts were all nearly shaken to death tho.
If your kids are really sneaky, just go to your neighbors’ house and ask them if you could hide your presents there. This neighbor would have to be one the kids don’t usually visit, or one they avoid at all costs for reasons of their own that wouldn’t effect the parents.
One year my parents switched name tags. My brother and I spent two weeks shaking each other’s presents. Boy were we surprised Christmas morning when the name tags had been switched back.
Haha! XD IDK how my parents did it, but they always managed to hide my & my brother’s gifts & we lived in a mobile home! So not too many places to hide them!

Or you might try where you keep all of the cleaning supplies. That may work as well.

One year when were young, our parents hid them in the upright piano. We were taking lessons at the time. Never found them until Dec. 25.

Maybe hide Hammie’s gifts in his sisters’ rooms and hide Zoe’s and Wren’s gifts in their brother’s room?

I used to hide chocolate that I didn’t want my husband to eat in the vegetable drawer.

Any hiding I do just goes into the trunk of my Mercedes. No one messes with it.

Put them somewhere high and not visible where only Daryl can reach them. Kids are crafty and curious, but also very short.

If the vegetable drawer is in the fridge, the kids would find them when they were getting the soda!

Keep them wrapped in white paper while you’re at it; they’ll think it’s just some produce.

My parents kept the presents in the closet at my Dad’s office. But not everyone has that luxury.

I’ve used the dish washer, the washer and dryer to hide the Dungeon and Dragon game until they got their homework done! ;-D

Is this fool proof?

Just inform the kids that any presents even glimpsed, even by “accident,” go back to the store and will not be replaced.
