In all reality ,Gil let me tell you that 7-2 is not a fantastic record.

HJB has got to bring Milford football into the 21st century. 7-2 will get a team into the playoffs. With a good strength of schedule rating, a team can earn decent tournament seed, which could potentially be translated into a deep run in the playoffs. In 2016 and 2018, teams with regular season records of 5-5 and 6-3 respectively, earned number seven seeds, played their best football of the year and won state titles here in Ohio.

First loss to Valley Tech in a decade, since a 19-17 decision in 2012. (Milford has actually dominated their “big rival” over the years; they’re 42-10-8 against them all time!)

And chins up guys, you did make it to the finals.

We haven’t seen the last of Big Hairy Hand Luke Martinez Hernandez. After all, not only was he a high school football champ, he also was the state champ in wrestling. Not to mention that PAC-12 basketball MVP award. Looking forward to wrestling season and Gil coaching the fellas on the finer points of grabbing and clutching your opponent. And that’s just the loofah drills!
