When was the last time you saw a blackboard? Do they even have them now?

Genius.

Remember that ol’ question – “Is this going to be on the final exam?”

Usually they use white boards these days, but I have seen classrooms where even those no longer reign. Much of it is digital.

I remember the treat of washing the black board…….

A rare occurrence of camouflaged Bleeb today.

Quite a contraption, kind of like a snow blower!

Wasn’t much of a ‘lesson’ anyway.

I recall being given the chalkboard erasers and being allowed to go outside the school and clap them together to get the dust out. Fun times for a 2nd or 3rd grader.

Take a chill pill folks. It is a CARTOON. CO poisoning does not exist in cartoons. It is a make believe world.

I wonder if little Billy still gets to clean the erasers after class? I used to clap the eraser for my 5th grade teacher.

That’s a brilliant invention! Her only problem is, she’s doing it herself! Every teacher I ever had, never did grunt work… it was always assigned to a student.

As one of my teachers was doling out grunt work, the smart-a$$ that I was, I jokingly volunteered to “grade the papers” ツ…

… he responded: Okay, washing the blackboard it is!

Bleeb still finds time to wave even when he’s feeling blue.

Miss Yohanan is just demonstrating how dangerous it is to erase history.

And then when she took it outside to have it bang the erasers against the side of the school building, the Great Dust Bowl era began.

Ummm, what school is still using blackboards?

This gives me an idea for a whiteboard wiper. One giant bar top-to-bottom, on rails, that can be slid side-to-side and wipe an entire whiteboard in one sweep.

She should have splurged on the electric model.

I thought schools had dry-erase boards now.

Those kids look a lot older than seventh grade. More like 10th or 11th grade.

She’s wearing ear protection. I’m impressed! ;=p
