I love it when my cats get the zoomies, they sound like a cattle stampede

My dog gets the zoomies now and then as well!

I was visiting a friend the other day when his two cats got the Zoomies. Surreal.

One night when our cats got the zoomies, I got up and ran around with them and chased them all

It weirded them all out for the rest of the night

It was the night of the last full moon, that might explain what got into all of us

Cats don’t get zoomies. They are simply chasing spirit mice.

…I’m starting to understand now how in a sunday comic, some years back now, Marigold had somehow impaled her horn into one of their walls. Must have been because of an unexpected end to Marigold’s zoomies that day.

Shouldn’t Mari’s sound effect be, “GALLOP GALLOP GALLOP”?

I’ve noticed the cat/unicorn similarity.

Again, Phoebe talks to the fourth wall. She knows…

The amusing thing is that Phoebe’s ancient ancestors actually hunted on foot with spears and were known to outrun their prey over long distances. Having the zoomies should be natural to humans.

Put a cork on that thing, Mari. You could impale someone.

First I thought Marigold was chasing the cat.

I don’t mind the zoomies… until they start using my back as a jumping platform.

Our kids, when they were little, did the same thing. Running back and forth like maniacs for 5-10 minutes, tired them out, and they dropped off to sleep within minutes. We called it the “Bedtime Follies”.

I’d be afraid of getting Han Solo’d/Olaf’d. It’s a good thing I don’t know a unicorn personally.

Those two would get along well with Lupin of BREAKING CAT NEWS and my younger brother’s dog.

I used to pet set a couple of greyhounds. It was fun to watch them get the zoomies – outside, of course. No house is big enough when a greyhound gets the zoomies!!!

Good to see Gladys again. The kitty needs to be in the comics more often.
