At summer camp we called the drink they served at meals “bug juice”. It was red and it was probably Kool-Aid.

… with a warning: “Do not call out for it three times in succession.”

And it’s the name of a star.

I see, if we “don’t go green”, we will have to eat bugs. Message received. Sri Lanka tried that, and it didn’t end well.

Speaking of unsustainable harvesting, it is obvious that they turn to beetles for their juice since you rarely see a blade of grass growing in B.C. to make tea! But then if there is no blades of grass to be seen, what do the beetles eat?

I guess it’s time to start aphid farming. If people are turning to beetle juice.

Juice comes from fruit. Fruit grows on trees. Trees grow for decades. What part of this is unsustainable?

Planting a tree for your grandchildren to play under is one of the definitions of hope and planning for the future.

If I’m not mistaken, “lest” is used backward here. It is saying “If we don’t continue with unsustainable harvesting beetle juice will be the future standard in breakfast beverages.” Not quite what was intended, I think.

The average breakfast drink is orange juice, apple juice or milk. All sustainable.

When the Communists and ecoterrorists are voted OUT, they won’t be able to FORCE everyone to drink garbage like that. [These brainwashed excrement heads aren’t using guns, they are trying to use unconstitutional ‘executive orders’ and unelected EPA bureaucrat ‘regulations’ to ban gas stoves and fossil fueled vehicles. The few rich enough to buy electric vehicles are finding they are an extreme pain to use in the winter and for long distances. The electric power to recharge them ISN’T available, especially in very cold weather. “The grid operators are asking everyone to use less power, or rolling blackouts will be necessary.”

The problem is the unsustainable breed rate of humans. The worst thing is over half of today’s 1/4 million net gain reproductive product is unwanted. We added 1 billion more in just 11 years to bring us to the over 8 billion we now have.

Does the Ferengi know about this? If so, they might make Earth the vacation spot of the universe.

Growing up in the ‘60s, Kool-Aid was too expensive so my mother opted to buy Zarex instead — a brand that seemed to be based in New England. Tasted a lot worse than Kool-Aid but it was still better than plain water. That’s the kind of stuff that camps would buy instead of Kool-Aid.
