Why worry about something you have no control of.

I hate how North American culture is so youth focused. I mean I really have hated it my whole life.

In keeping to today’s theme, the teen’s choice of clothes colors is rather bland. ( The black and white version was probably peppier looking.)

Mom is also wigged out over the day-to-day drudgery of taking care of you noisy, messy, filthy, ungrateful, smart-mouth kids..

It’s funny. I recently saw an ad for Olay wrinkle cream. The woman was younger than me (she’s probably about 45-50) and still has more wrinkles than I do!

Or, maybe this is literally the best time to tell her. And pretend you didn’t notice what she was watching first.

Exactly. Worry serves no purpose, nor does being attached to outcomes. Just do what you can and accept that you can’t control everything.

I’d tell women at my job all the time that you just have to take care of yourself and watch what you eat. At my last job I retired from, from the way I looked and took care of myself, I encouraged my sergeant to start taking better care of herself simply by changing her diet.

What does Ellie think? That time will stand still just for her? Believe me, it doesn’t for anyone. She’s fighting a losing battle griping about it instead of going with the flow.

Don’t worry, Elizabeth, your mother won’t go for Botox.

Elly has a lot going for her and she does not know it. She has lived longer than many others. She can share knowledge of her long life, such as telling the kids what it was like to travel by stagecoach.

My mom’s in her late 50s and only has LIGHT lines around her mouth! My dad’s in his early 60s and has NOTHING except faint lines on his forehead!!! Good genetics.XP
