AI/ bots can shorten the time for tedious tasks. My employer uses bots for several of the necessary documentation required for individual projects. Still, it is best to review the work before digitally signing anything because those bots are not yet perfect.
I remember an old science fiction story that involved an artificial intelligence that was tasked with building a space station in the vicinity of Jupiter. It was a completely automated process. When humans finally arrived, all the components were still in the original boxes. The AI had been programmed for efficiency and determined it was much more efficient just to send in fake progress reports. Of course, as with human fakery, it was discovered.
There was an article in today’s paper about people in colleges having their theses typed out by AI bots. All they do is monitor them while in action. Professors are concerned.

And what comes out of the artificial dog is a report of about the same quality of what came in.
