I can imagine 3 triceratopses telling a T-Rex to move so they can drink water.

I think an even more painful toy dinosaur on which to step would be either stegosaurus (those upward plates on its back and spikes at the end of its tail) or the ankylosaurus (spikes all over its back).

Most prehistoric predatory dinosaurs learned very quickly not to step on a triceratops.

Why is it assumed plant eating dinosaurs were ‘harmless’? A rhinoceros is a vegetarian and can be very dangerous if threatened. I imagine a triceratops would be too.

Hmmm… A plastic dinosaur. This gets a bit tricky, but plastic is derived from oil, and oil is a fossil fuel that is derived from ancient organisms, The remains of ancient dinosaurs are in that mix, so a % of a plastic dinosaur is made of… wait for it…. real dinosaurs.

Legos may not be quite so sharp, but they are a LOT more common…

If tears come from left eye, you are crying for sadness. If tears come from right eye, you are crying for joy. If tears come from both eyes, you stepped on a piece of Lego. ☺

To a triceratops, Earl would be about the size of Godzilla, but I don’t remember Godzilla being bothered by stepping on the debris of Tokyo. Earlzilla is a wimp!

Not related to today’s comic, but “Pickles” (and “Blondie”) got a mention in yesterday’s “Drabble”…https://www.gocomics.com/drabble/2023/01/23?ct=v&cti=2208697

Quite possibly the only toy that’s more painful to step on than a LEGO.

I had enough toys from my child and my pets in the house that I have learned not to put my foot all the way down if I feel ANYTHING. I can avoid stepping on a dog toe with enough weight to hurt the dog. But the answer to the question is: It depends on which item broke the toe. A bruised foot will heal a lot faster than a broken toe. My child breaks a toe at least once a year and so far refuses to wear slippers. I think after the last recent one she will change to slippers. Always in a hurry. Always breaking toes. She also had to fix that one since it was also dislocated. Then she got an x-ray to make sure nothing else was broken. I have never broken a toe, as far as I know. I used to leave martial arts classes carrying my shoes because I had to tape my toes together off and on, even in the winter. Sports tape is great stuff.
