Bits and pieces of this arc are coming back to me every day. And I’m still getting surprises.

Wrong size

When I broke my right knee, I had to be on crutches with a full weight supporting brace. Never having used crutches, my doc sent me to an occupational therapist for a 45 minute lesson on how to use them. Took a while, but by the time I no longer needed them (4 months), I was pretty good at using them.

Good luck, stilts.

These are crutches, not stilts!

Gotta admit, I now kinda want to see Snoopy in one of those back-leg doggie wheelbarrow things they use these days :D

One time I had dislocated a toe. My husband had a set of crutches & let me use them. He’s 5’7"; I’m 5’-nuthin’. T’was awkward to say the least.

Maybe you should’ve gotten him some smaller crutches.

Snoopy’s right. Been there, done that, hated them.

Snoopy’s already mastered balance in stilt position! Can’t wait to see what else he can do on them.

Looks like the crutches are even too big for Charlie B. Apparently the crutches salesman did a con job on Chuck and took his money! The salesmen are supposed to measure the crutches to fit.

They might need a bit of an adjustment.

crutches at that size might as well be stilts. :}

Built myself a set of stilts when I was a kid. It was fun for a while, right up to the point I fell into the briars. I picked out little stickers for a couple of hours. Of course I didn’t learn my lesson and played on them again…ah the halcyon days of youth…

Snoopy is going to end up with two casts rather than just one, just like L. B. Jeffries.
