For those making derogatory comments about people who don’t pay off their credit card balance every month, allow me to give you a glimpse in to the life of a poor person. Some people can’t. Especially when you only use them for emergencies. I have one card that I had to use when my central air conditioning broke. $5000 to replace and $4000 went on a credit card that is still not paid off almost 3 years later. This was an emergency in Central Florida. I keep flipping the balance to zero interest cards, but I can’t afford to pay much more than the minimum payment.
Wait a minute … is that a romantic meal they are having? But they are a rat and a pig! All those heads under those red MAGA baseball caps are going to explode!
The banks never lose any money, it’s all done on the backs of people who carry balances. Rewards from rewards cards, losses from people not paying etc. That said, there are a lot of people who overspend because they’re stupid, but we also have to keep in mind that there are a lot of people who use credit cards because they are in financial trouble because of high medical bills etc. and they have to suffer without any fault of theirs.
