Forty years ago, my coffeemaker “asked” to be filled with Gevalia from Sweden.

I had a ‘chat’ with an AI troubleshooting my site for my phone service. We lost some messages. The AI response was amazing. After I described the problem it took about 3 minutes to state “looks like a problem on our side. Ticket 7254 issued” and then it hung up abruptly. After 6 hours, service back to 100%. Think it was Oracle software.

Has anyone here tried the Ethiopian Chelbesa? The people selling it make it sound wonderful. Meanwhile, my daughter has told me I have to try Jamaican Blue Mountain.

I just googled chelbesa grinds.

We assume artificial intelligences will care about not doing their jobs. No reason to not do what you were designed to do even if you also do more.

This is not so far off reality. Smart refrigerators will track what you eat and report it to the health Stasi.
