AW, this brings back fond memory of bath time with my 4 legged kids. But seriously it sounds like he has indoor plumbing. That explains why they’re always clean. Yip yip yip yip yip
We don’t bathe our dogs, we shower them and the all loved it.
We wait for a sunny day. Our dog loves to lay out in the sunshine. Which is good, because in spite of rubbing him down with towels, it takes him three hours to dry. It’s like washing a 70-pound shag carpet- or should I say shed carpet.
Why do dogs, when wet, have to do their shake either right in our faces or after we come inside after a walk in the rain? I will stop on the porch, give my dog time to shake off, but she never does until we go inside and she can soak me, the walls, and some furniture, too.
Timely for us. After spending the morning at the “spa”, our dog is stuck inside this afternoon. Since the groomer works out of her vet’s office, she also had blood work and vaccines done so this really is unfair. I snuck her some doggie gingerbread cookies.
We have 3 chocolate NewfieLabs. They love the mud and the bath after. They have grooming appointments this up coming Saturday. They love their groomer and she loves them.

So it’s a natural instinct in dogs.

I’m told that ladies will pay good money for a mud bath. Why, I don’t know. Beauty fads I guess.

Rule #1 of dog bathing: a quick business walk first. Then bath time, then zoomies, then sleep. No outside until they are dry.

Something wrong with its teeth in the last panel. And first, they roll in something gross and smelly.

Wasted days and wasted nights
I have left for you behind
For you don’t belong to me
Your heart belongs to someone else"
In this case to mud.

It’s impossible to keep the wolf/dog inside when you don’t have a door.
