It can also work the other way. The butterflies could prevent the storm.

Of course, there is no way you get to choose the butterfly or what part of the world is affected. It pretty much all evens out.

Butterfly sounds so nice in most languages: papillon (french), mariposa (Spanish), sommerfugl (Danish). But schmetterling? C’mon, get serious. Sounds vaguely obscene.

Therefore, the wing flapping of the right butterfly might STOP the storm from happening.

I wonder how much Ruben Bolling is making by licensing Chaos Butterfly to other strips. Uh… you did pay to use the character, didn’t you, Tim?
