Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I looks like Brad from the bank got a new job selling antique toys! Sometimes, you just canât get away from Gameboy.
Waddingtonâs was the name of the U.K. distributor of Monopoly that made those games with the hidden escape tools in them.
The perspective on the toys in the display case is a little off. You should be able to see the top of the car since you can see the top glass of the display case.
Todayâs episode with these characters, is this a spin-off? With an alarm going off and people racing for the exits the hoodie guy is attempting a shakedown. Timing is everything besides the police have their hands full. Where are the security personnel when you need them?
âActually, Iâm looking for storage space for some games I âownâ⌠I figure the copsâ I mean crooks will just figure anything in a warehouse for your games belongs to you.â
âBut wouldnât GameBoy have our warehouse on the list of places to hit?â
âTrust me, he thinks itâd be safer hidden among your things.â
Yeah, who didnât see this coming? Next thing you know, Klinique Plenty will be kidnapped along with Chick Tracy II so she can teach the bird how to win at chessâŚ
Everyone believes that Hoody is Dice Mask Man but a review of the 4/8 and 4/9 strips reveals that Ball Cap Boy has hair the same color as⌠DICE MASK MAN!!! Is Mike running a classic misdirect? No? Well, it mightâve been interesting if he was.
on a personal note, I just received a skype from my friend, Sarah, over in Axminster, in the UK⌠sheâs let me know that sheâs just been informed that her dad has esophageal cancer and that they are going to conduct tests to see if the cancer has spread⌠sheâs at her witâs end at the moment, as she and her father are very close⌠she says she needs me to be with her over skype later tonight, so I shall be there for her⌠in the meantime, she has her husband, Alan, there with her, as well⌠so if I can request some of the faithful out there to offer up prayers for Sarahâs dad, Derek, as well as for Sarah herself⌠I know this is tearing her up and itâs tearing ME up that I canât be there for her⌠so any and all prayers are gratefully and greatly appreciated by my friends as well as myself⌠thanksâŚ
If anything, the colorist believes hoodie man is Game Boy. Take away the color and all we have are light eyes versus dark eyes, not brown, blue, green, etc. The colorist gave Game Boy green eyes where Shelley drew light eyes. Brad at the bank also had light eyes, but the colorist gave him light brown eyes. Shelley gave the fake Game Boy from yesterday dark eyes. Today we have a light-eyed hoodied fellow with a villianous look in those same eyes. The colorist gave him green eyes, just like the real Game Boy. No mask, but a thin beard and mustache. If you go back and look at Gameboy earlier, you can see the edge of a thin beard on the mask. On 4/9, Team Tracyâs colorist made it brown to match the hair on top of his head.
Apparently, grandson has seen him before and obviously not in a good way. Grandson isnât Brad from the bank as grandson has dark eyes. The hair may be similar, but the face shape is slightly different and the eyes at a different angle. So when/where has grandson seen him before?
1-GARAGE MAN: Donât let that Monopoly game I used to escape from the Nazis burn up, boy! It took me forever to find it in the garage. BRAD: Quit bossing me ya old fart. Iâm already wasting my day off at this stupid convention. Shouldnât you be in a home???
2-GAMEBOY: Well if it ainât my old pal, BRAD. Remember me. ITâS BANK ROBBERY SEASON?
3-BRAD: HmmmâŚno. Canât say I do. Did we go to school together? Did we ever date?
GAMEBOY:sigh Itâs game stealing season. Just gimme the dam box. You really take all the joy out this, you know that, Brad!!! BRAD: Hang on. Itâs coming to me now. YouâreâŚI wanna say Lameboy? HEY GRANPA â COME MEET LAMEBOY! DT off panel :WhatâŚ?
Waddingtonâs Antique Amusements brings to mind a similar shopâgone nowâjust west of Wrigley Field, on Addison. Yesterdays was the name if memory serves. Old toys and games were the specialty.
OT: GoComics started posting Little Nemo in Slumberland again last month. Strips drop on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Wonderful art. Today, the final strip of 1905 was posted.
Some guys have all the luck, Brad. It may be good luck, or it may be bad luck but there it is, either way. I guess you are recognizing the guy who had you hand over money in the bank job, maybe by his voice and/or eyes. Thatâs what you get for voluntarily helping Grandpa run his table/booth at the antiques convention and sale. Just hand over that super-rare game and do as youâre told.
Let Tracy do the heavy lifting if in fact heâs around. I donât think Tracy would risk the Public by engaging in a gunfight on the floor of the convention. But, then, he is (usually) a crack shotâŚ.

Good morningâ˘, lamest stories ever !
Not simply because poor Brad gets hit twice but the lameness (Is this FA ?) in the security, unless it is a deliberate set up to snare GB.
