The Hokey-Pokey, a fun kinda dance/exercise/spastic moment in music. Certainly got the sweat glands working. But even that was better to watch than what followed.

When the composer of the Hokey Pokey died, everything at the funeral went along fine until they put the left foot in the coffin….!

That decision was handed down in a case regarding topless dancing in San Francisco about 60 years ago.

Did they invent Surround-Sound so people could dance the Hokey-Pokey properly?

There is one proviso in the court’s ruling—there should be no dancing in commercials!

    Also money.

    Money is speech.

    Lots and lots of money.

    Ask any Republican justice.

Reminded of an Isaac Asimov story about a man named Stein who defrauded thousands, then jumped into a time machine set for after the statute of limitations ran out. The judge’s verdict was “A niche in time saves Stein.”
