Earl only you could screw up making Jell-o.

If he makes soup and she needs a steak knife, then he should never be allowed anywhere near the stove again!

Earl, jello is a dish best served cold.

Jello has zero nutrition except for some sugar.

I like warm liquid Jell-o®.

I worked in dietary in a long term care home for seniors for over three decades. When I first started I was told to make a coleslaw for the salad bar. Since it was around Christmas I thought a little green and red food coloring would make it look festive. Well when I stirred it up the two colors combined turned brown. The coleslaw looked like raw hamburger! The salad was put on the salad bar and with many explanations as to what it was from the diners it was eaten. Needless to say I never tried that again!

Good setup for the Jell-O that didn’t. It’s okay, Earl – sometimes things just don’t gel the way they’re supposed to.

I remember children in our neighborhood sprinkling pre-sweetened Jello from the packets right into their mouths.

At least he didn’t burn it!

The oldest son when he was learning to cook screwed up Kraft Mac & Cheese from the little blue box. Apparently he missed the “drain the water” part of the instructions after cooking the macaroni. It was Mac & Cheese soup.

Let’s learn the word congelation. And maybe coagulation and amalgamation while we are at it.

Isn’t that supposed to go in the FRIDGE..?????

About 10 years ago when I was visiting a friend in Norway I tried to make his favourite side dish, potatoes au gratin. I used Google translate to read the directions and ended up with potato soup. He loved it. XD

For thanksgiving I always did this for the kids:Thoroughly drain a can of pineapple rings, leaving the fruit in the can. Make a small package of lime jello according to the package instructions, except when you add the cold water, only use half as much. Then pour it into the can (there will be a bit left over) and let it chill. After it is set, open the other end of the can and push it out. You end up with a can-shaped blob of jello, with the pineapple rings floating in it. The children always loved it.

Here, mix in this rapid setting cement.

Must have added too much vodka…

Actually, it was the nicest compliment Opal has ever told Earl even though he mucked it up!

Earl’s culinary skills have not quite ‘jelled’ yet (not that they ever will).

How is it that he is “helping” her? What does he contribute to the marriage?

I’ll bet you could still eat it with a spoon, just like regular Jell-o.
