I was driving through Newfoundland once when I came over a rise and saw a moose standing in the middle of the road about halfway up the next hill. I did just what I was supposed to do and stopped a safe distance away. After a short time, the moose ambled off into the woods. I am pretty sure that my little Prius didn’t scare him away, but the semi coming up behind me.
I think the cartoonist stole this one from the first Avatar movie when Jake Sully, threatened by a gigantic herbivorous titanothere, stands his ground. When the creature retreats, he has succeeded or so he thinks.

Well at least purple dinosaurs are childishly friendly and just love to sing and play all day. B.C. will survive for another day.
