    Good morning™, all!

Sounds like Tracy has time to do a serious investigation right now. Hopefully, he won’t have to just wait around until some criminal turns himself in.

    Neil’s holding out on us!

He and Mike discussed the upcoming plots at a recent furry convention!

    Wonder what costume Neil wore?

I can see the courtroom scene now. Defense attorney: “What was your probable cause for launching your investigation into my client’s business?” Tracy: “A hen was suspicious about your client’s call to a citizen.” Judge: “Case dismissed.”

B.O. brings Chick Tracy with him to report the phone fraud. Chick must be a taxpayer now based on the commercial she did with Cousin what’s her name.

Tracy and MCU have a challenge in front of them. Who is going to admit they got taken for a ride via a phone scam?

Remember when a few years ago Gertie and B.O. had a baby that they never let us get a look at? What ever happened to that story?

Ever-amiable Tracy apparently holds no grudge against B.O. (or whomever) for dragging his name into the Chick’n De-Lites PR exhibit at the Locher. The upshot of that (and so much else) was left on the cutting-room floor in the usual mad dash to the finish line….

Chick Tracy is proving to be one tough gumshoe. How tough? Chick hatched from a hardboiled egg.

I was defrauded once on eBay and nothing could be done until it exceeded 400,000 from all the victims totals. I tracked the guy for 10 years from Texas to Pennsylvania and back to Florida again . He messed up in Florida when I tipped off the local police. He had been taking advantage of a paralyzed man using the victim’s credit cards. He was released in under 2 years. Look up Vernon Kostic in court records for Pennsylvania and Florida. Burn in Hell scumbag for ripping me off and I made you regret the day you scammed me on EBay.

People’s greed is their down fall. When I was still a cop, (and back pre-internet) a woman came in with a letter saying she had won the “Canadian Lottery.” Of course there were fees to transfer the “winnings” internationally. I asked her “Have you been to Canada?” “Not for many years.” “Did you play the lottery while you were there?” “No.” “Then how likely is it you’ve won?” I could see the wheels turning in her head. She knew I was right, but I’m not 100% sure she didn’t go ahead and send money.

What I want to know is, if the chicken is revealed to be a secret SMERSH assassin and goes to court, will she get leniency or will she FRY?

    1-CHIEF: TRACY! WHAT’S THAT SMELL…oh. Hello B.O…

2-…You remember my rule about “visitors” don’t you Tracy?

3- CHIEF & TRACY IN UNISON: If they’re well racked, stacked and packed, you better get ‘em in my sack. BUT if they’re not – you best get ‘em back to the parking lot!

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Wow, looks like Dick Tracy’s unconstitutionally violent crime fighting techniques have been so effective that he’s going to be fighting phone crime now! Does the FCC let you shoot people? What if you really want to, like if the perp is real funny looking or something?

I was wondering which Tracy the chief is asking to ‘look into it’, but then I noticed that he makes a clear distinction in his speech balloons between “Tracy” and Tracy.

Day 2 in the office with Buk-KAW. The surprising thing is the absence of coffee. Tomorrow we get Buk-KAW at the police station… with coffee.

Four-star Chief of Police Pat Patton proves to be a crucial prop for the plot of the piece we peruse. He assigns his one-time partner, Detective Tracy, to the phone scam case (since the “M” in MCU is way down—in what alternate universe is that?!). Thus, the story strands become instantly interwoven. Chick Tracy II leads Dick Tracy to the phone racket call center and sad Sabrina and Audie the Auditory Schizophrenic. Step 1 is fulfilled….

Sprocket/Susan Nitrate-Austin and Adam Austin are yet incoming! Stay ’tooned….

Pat wondering through the Major Case squadroom? Doesn’t he have briefings with the new mayor, and, city council to go to? Or, even press conferences to hold?
