I much prefer the serious music from back in the 50’s when I was a teenager. We had such lyrics as Bomp bomp ba bomp, ba bomp ba bomp bomp,dip-de-dip-de-dip, boogidy shoo, doo-wop-de-wop. Those were songs with real meaning.
I only recognized about half of the lyrics. I stopped listening to the radio about 1983. Probably tapes instead in the car – books and my preferred music choices.

‘Always something there to remind me’ was a 60s hit — unless someone covered it 20 years later and nobody told me!

You don’t base your comics on 60s and 70s music? It seems so vain. We’ll help you if we can.
