Nonesense: Vigilantism is legal in New York, just ask Spiderman in “No Way Home”. Not to mention the work “woke” is meaningless. Furthermore, the district attorney doesn’t “indict” in New York, a grand jury does, like the federal government (which the 5th requires, but it doesn’t apply to the states).

Will the last person leaving New York City please turn the lights out? Don’t worry about taking the subway on your way out, Alvin Bragg and George Soros will be there to protect you.

Speaking of which, why does it take two weeks to get out the toxicology report from Neely? You don’t suppose that the MSM is complicit in blocking its release, do you? Naaaaah!

Not surprised. Not even the police want to get involved. When seconds count a police officer is just minutes away (maybe hours depending on your neighborhood).

It is sad that so many innocent people are suffering because of the ‘woke’ agenda that thinks criminals of all kinds are the heroes.

According to my Webster’s 1983 dictionary, “Woke” represents those who are “alert to racial prejudice and discrimination” I know there are people claiming they are unaware of what goes on around them; most claim to be republicans? Yep I have helped restrain crazy people without killing them, last one on meth; my reward a broken nose, well worth it we are both alive.

Do you have ANY idea what the word “woke” even means? Your comic today suggests you do not. Woke means awake to injustice. In the Batman TV series, Batman worked in conjunction and with the approval of the city officials. He was not a vigilante. But people who unnecessarily and willfully kill other people in the name of vigilantism need to be prosecuted.

Uh, Mr. Kelley, it’s been many years since Robin dressed like a Keebler Elf.

Batman never killed anyone.

Don’t remember Batman strangling the Penguin after he passed out until he was sure he was dead.

As I said yesterday on Ramirez’s misuse of the caped crusader: Batman doesn’t kill! Penny should take a page from his comic book.

There was a book – yes a book – ugh – Seduction of the Innocences. By a ‘fake’ dr who wanted to make a buck, who tried to make batman out as gay and Wonder woman a lesbian. Came out in 1954. Fredrick Wertham shrink. We have come so far. sheesh. Talked about how comics were destroying american youth. Said comics were the opposite of ‘Woke’ without saying it. Woke was not much of a thing back in the day. So much history and yet we forget or never bothered to know.

When I hear the word woke, I hear stupid.

I think Mr. Kelly should watch “The Boys” if he wants to see what would really happen if there were super heroes.

Consider you are struggling for your life as you subdue and wrestle someone who is attacking you and others. When do you know when to “give up”? Is it when the mad person finally quits struggling? Will you be safe then or is he just pausing, hoping you will let go? Is that when you call for Batman?

The right loves using woke as a dog whistle… but its loud as hell. Then come time for the general election and they will cry about not getting any minority support.

In what way is a DA “woke”? That’s just a lazy attempt at an insult only stupid people try.

Gotham’s DA is Two-Face! If anything was “woke” in Batman it was Aunt Harriet and where is she now?

If you get on a train car, and immediately start threatening people, shouting, and getting in people’s faces where they are frightened, and don’t know what’s going to happen next, and someone stands up to that person, he is a hero. The folks on the train even said so. Also, you don’t have space to get away so you are confined to his madness. It is not, as some have posted, “open season on the homeless”, it’s more “f around and find out”.

Some one screaming he’s going to kill you. Isn’t exactly being made uncomfortable.

“Woke” in its original meaning meant “situational awareness,” which it taught to all military and first responders. As is their wont, the GOP has bastardized the word to cultivate its cultural wars, created in order to hide their dearth of ideas.
