I’m happy to be a plugger we hit the restaurants around 4:30 or 5 best time to get a good table.

Goes out for dinner eh. Where is they goes to the local picanic grounds?

On their Reagan era TV.

And after that, “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy.”

“You’re a plugger if you still watch the evening news”

One of the many things I like about winter, is that its dark when the 5:00 oclock news begins; so pajamas are acceptable attire.

Well when you start the day early, dinner comes early ;-)

Let’s hear it for those early bird specials.

Well, from where I’m from dinner is the noon meal; supper is in the evening.

Pluggers don’t eat late either for digestion purposes or early bird specials. I can’t eat late for indigestion!

Or get take out…….

Well, sure, dinner, even a movie afterwards — why would you be out later than that?

Always go in early, 5-ish or so, and usually make it back for the national news.

Happy Hours rarely run past 6 pm.

From the head rush of youth to the senior rush of latter-year dining…

Well, as night owls, my daughter (39) and I (66) usually hit IHOP at around 2 am, so not many diners, have gotten to know the night staff. Get good, friendly service, and can take our time. No screaming babies either. :o) We watch our news on our iPads/iPhones. So, in this way, I am not a plugger – but am in most others.

I’m a plugger. If I go out for dinner, I’m still home in time to watch the 6pm news.

I eat at 4 and go to sleep at 7!

That’s what DVRs are for.

I not only not-watch the news…I don’t even watch the weather-report/forecasts. Why not? Because, this-plugger has the finest-instrument available for up-to-the-minute daily forecasts: I’ve an-Official NOAA-endorsed “Weather-Rock” that hangs on the outcropping of my-side door entrance. All I gotta do is either look at it, or perhaps go out and feel of it, depending on which season it is. It’s yet to be proven wrong, by-garrly…!☺

We eat at 8 pm and are still back from a restaurant to watch most shows.
