At least he apologized. That’s a start.

One thing you can say about Rat—he is one sorry individual.

I’ll take Things never heard for 200

Rat has the first part right, making amends.

He needs to work on the second part, changing himself so he does not need to make as many amends again in the future; but that requires learning, caring, and being truly repentant.

Rat is truly sorry…that Goat found out!

What did he even do

He said he would like to apologise. But he didn’t.

He’ll just have to apologize again….

Goat, did you even have to ask?!

Priest: Did you want confession?

Apologies mean nothing from RAT! He’s not sorry or remorseful one bit!

He’d like to but he cannot.

I’m sincerely sorry for what I did, and I promise, that given half a chance, I’ll do it again!

It is human (Rat) nature. The good that I would, I do not and that that I would not, that I do. We try to correct this behavior but aren’t always successful.

Oh great, that could be any myriad of things. I’ll be sure to find a suit of armor with a helmet that can cover my horns.

Well, he is a rat.

A step in the right direction for Rat.

No sense in perpetuating an untruth.

I’ll take the honesty, just a lot easier to deal with….might hurt a bit but it won’t change much. Rarely have to backstep on it like lying often demands (remembering the right lie components, too ).

Sort like Catholic confession when I was a kid. Confess your sins on Saturday and go right out and commit them again for next Saturday’s confession.

The honesty is refreshing.

Almost as bad as a former acquaintance who would often begin a sentence with, “No offense, but…” and it was, of course, usually offensive.

This AT&T middle manager had a rule: Never the evil reaction to the same comrade twice.

I like prefacing every conversation with “With all due respect”. Then I speak my mind.

With rat, at least you know where you stand.

I don’t think that sort of apology is sincere at all!

I have said it before, Rat is honest in stating his opinions. Also, blunt, callous, disdainful, uncaring, etc.
