I have a feeling the next sentence out of her mouth will start with the two most feared words in the English language… Mother Gargle…

That and tomorrow never comes at all, so stop worrying about things you have no control over.

Why is Mother Gargle here?

I guess there’s nothing like getting a head start Brutus. May as well go for it.

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Don’t worry about tomorrow until it gets here.

Worrying is very effective and proven to work. Over 90% of the things I worry about never happen.

I sympathize. You don’t know how awful your day can become, until your restaurant serves you chilled red wine instead of room temperature red wine!

she does have a point, tomorrow has enough problems on it’s own. worry about today instead. ;)

Poor Brutus, just when he thought he was home safe… Leave it to Gladys to add to his concerns.

Gladys is wise .

Like the saying goes “Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday”

With Bruts, Gladys does have a valid point as to not being too optimistic. However, l will pray for the last part of the day to be better than the first part…..

“Sage advice”, admits Brutus, “is Ramona comming over?”…

What’s the point in worrying, stuffs gonna happen anyway.

HA! Good one!

Poor Brutus thought Gladys was about to give him a pep talk and she pulled the rug out from under him. No doubt picked that up from her Mommy Dearest.

Brutus could try to plan for tomorrow, and not worry about it. He will need some sleep tonight. He can’t lose every time, can he? (Never mind.)

Brutus always remember the words of that great philosopher Alfred E. Newman, “What me worry.”

Sounds like Gladys knows something Brutus doesn’t know and doesn’t necessarily want to know.

That’s right Brutus, cross your bridges when you come to them. Live,laugh and be happy for tomorrow may never come.
