Necco wafers. Yuck. I grew up near there. The factory stank and the smell distracted us from any educational merit of a class field trip.

Those things are even worse than circus peanuts on the desirable holiday treat scale.

I guess in a doomsday bunker they might be of some use.

Some of Boston’s finest since 1847, still selling those “hub wafers” (original name) strong . .

We’ve lost Dan.

I still have a foolish fondness for Necco wafers. Also candy necklaces. Pure artificial processed sugar flavoured with concentrated nostalgia.

There were tropical Neccos? I never saw those. I would love to try those. I like Necco wafers. Especially the chocolate ones.

This is a win win situation. Dan gets to have his candy and Amanda will have more of whatever candy she has stashed in the house. I’m assuming there’s a stash. If there’s no stash I would share mine.

These originated in Fresno, California. I like the chocolate ones. Not sure about tropical. Do they even exist?

I’m going to go out on a limb and guess Dan really likes tropical flavor Necco wafers.

Nothing like the flavors of candy to make for a great comments section… only vaguely remember the NECCO flavor… so not anything I’ve sought out. Agree with the idea that if someone likes those, more of the better stuff for me!

Little bitty NECCO ice cream sandwiches? Admit it, you’re going to try it. NECCO S’mores? Get out the mini marshmallows… and the tweezers.
