Dogs don’t need lessons in napping.

Just lay down … Close your Eyes … And See ;-)

Well, first you have to find a sleeping cat that you feel you can bully…

First, one has to be a cat.

First, it’s good to find The Catbird Seat.

It’s easy! Just lay down and go to sleep!

Same as you when you take a dog nap.

1st and most important, find a patch of sunlight.

Quietly and without anyone asking idiotic questions.

1. Find a comfortable couch or bed. 2. Rumple cushions or bedding. 3. Curl up. 4. Sleep.

Also, how does one take catnip?

Sit in your comfy chair, listen to soft music, sip your double martini, and close your eyes.

It’s a knack.

Dogs do something very similar.

First, never wake up a sleeping cat. They can be testy. Second, I think a catnap is what I just did. Lean back and close eyes. Wake up 2 hours later to a dog who feels her dinner time has come and gone by ten entire minutes.

As I like to say…“I don’t take naps. They just happen!” (I want a T-shirt that says Naps Happen.)  Just don’t let them happen like Grandpa did while he was driving his car.  At least he went in his sleep, not screaming like everyone else in the car with him!
