Not to worry; I understand they are redefining the BMI scale to prevent fat shaming.

To beat his high score, they will have to add another digit to the scales.

Like golf, low score wins

No surprise there. At his apparent age, that’s gonna be his number for the next few years. He might lose some to exercise and diet. Or worse yet add to it. But the middle will retain its pot shape until the train reaches the terminal.

I so resemble him! And you’re right that the “pot” never goes away.

Remember those scales that also put out a slip with your fortune? One of them told me, “You and your friend will have a very good day.”
