It will be no different when you are 60 years older.

Calvin has just earned himself a new knickname………

Calvin’s mom reeks with the putrid stench of bitterness and disillusionment.

Today’s strip reminds me of a story arc about Calvin being bullied by Moe. After giving in to Moe, Calvin went to sit on a swing. A small boy then yelled at Calvin, “Hey kid! If you’re not using the swing, get off it!” One reader asked, “What’s the name of this new character – Stinky?”

Stinky, Calvin. And with no clue that you’d become your current self.

Stink. Stank. Stunk!!

So it’s obvious that Calvin was wanted by neither parent. He and Hobbes really ought to run away from home. Then Mom and Dad would worry—about losing their tax deductions!!

Still stinky.

He is still a little stinker.

Why does he think his mother makes him take a bath, every single day?

Well it is one of the ‘stronger’ memories.

My brothers are 9 and 11 years older than me. They helped take care of me when I was born, but they say it was a challenge. They had a nickname for me: Oliver Peed.

I would think Calvin would be thrilled to find out he was stinky

There are lots of people that can be described with a blurb.

And he still is a ‘Stinker’… LOL

In fairness to Calvin, he has possibly the most unloving, uncaring and incompetent parents ever.

That’s an awful thing to say to one’s own child.

All babies have that “baby” smell. It’s a mixture of sweetness from their clothes (secret Ivory formula), and poop… In my opinion, the sweet smell overpowers all the rest…

Well, you did ask for it, Calvin.

Calvin breaks down the fourth wall and addresses us directly!

That says more (or less?) about the Mother (her care of him) than about the baby!

Her lack of warmth and affection explains allot

When parents are too honest.

Meaning no offense, surely. That just goes with being a baby.

At least he’s consistant..
