It’s always a good idea to sleep on it when you have an thought. That way, after a good night’s sleep, you’ll realize how silly it was.

Now that is a wise and cautious man.

Putting off something because it is inconvenient has for me always created a greater inconvenience down the road. Heck, the very acts of birth and death are never ever convenient regardless of how well-prepared one is.

You had him at beach, or was it “put off the yard sale?”

Arlo has learned over the years not to agree too quickly or Janice might change her mind. If she argues for something enough, she gets invested in the position. Works with my wife, anyway.

Out of curiosity, who takes care of Ludwig when they’re away? I don’t recall ever seeing him while they are visiting the the kids…

Sadly it is difficult even if your kids live in the same town. We just say we are having Thanksgiving, Christmas, when and then pray they come.

living at the beach, from an historical basis, no one comes to visit once the leaves turn colors and the fall chill begins. Memorial Day to September 15th are the one third of the year we can expect to see friends and family.

If their downsizing is anything like ours was, they will need multiple garage sales between now and the move.

Stay home you just took a trip there, and forget that silly yard sale idea all together.
