Forget stamping of feet and repeating the question. Simply point out that the original question is insufficiently defined and bounded to produce a meaningful answer. The only suitable answer is another question or a series of them, beginning with “Why what?” Other responses might include: “How would you like that question to be interpreted and defined in order to produce a fitting answer?” — as well as reiterating what was said yesterday or the day before to the effect that this question is not qualified to be a “riddle”.

The answer for Why? is Because… or Mantech, is always Mantech
