The way I see it, they’d be doing Connie a favor as much as anything else – she certainly can’t keep all the pups, even with that nice set-up she has downstairs for the dogs.

Complication is usually low on the list of concerns about getting [another] pet. That’s comic strips for ya.

Jews have it so much easier, buy a new dreidel and your done.

Giving a live animal as a Christmas gift is almost never a good idea. Yes, I’ve read ahead and I know it works out for the Pattersons, but for the most part it does not. There are an awful lot of Christmas puppies that end up in a shelter because Mom & Dad did not think through what owning and training a puppy entails. Little 3 year old Johnny just isn’t capable of caring for a dog.

Thanks I kinda know the fate of Farly, don’t know how the Puppy played into it. Now I understand why people are saying they don’t want to read it again

I think April should get the puppy and also get a kitten.
