Tell me about it. I had the refrigerator repair, which didn’t work, having to buy a new refrigerator, a horribly infected old root canal (the infection actually destroyed all the surrounding bone) that had to be redone and treated, a bonkers computer that had to be repaired, various medical bills, including an injured purple foot and adverse reactions to each of three new prescriptions, and two days of plumbers in my home. All in the space of a few weeks.
Ugghhh. We did get a break on winterizing the car and it didn’t cost as much as we thought it would. But our cat Rose had to have her ingrown toenails clipped again. Over $200. I wish we could do it ourselves but she wouldn’t let us and when I looked at the situation I realized I couldn’t do it. But one good thing is the vet recommended we do it monthly instead of waiting for it to grow like that again and it would only cost $15 if done monthly. Poor Rose was suffering so much, and limping. She looks a lot better now.
Maybe somebody could do that for our Federal Government.
[It probably wouldn’t help: They’d probably use it to justify spending even more money that they don’t have and giving even more/most of it to other countries and people (noncitizens) rather than spending it our own country’s needs and helping our own citizens.]
Well Aunty, if you where better looking and younger, you could make more on your back than on your feet. That’s what a lady once said in Church when I was young and didn’t understand what she meant about her not having a job. (Wiser people said she had a red light on her porch. I didn’t know what the meant either)
I like that list. But it most likely will never happen in my world. My housemate discovers as soon as I have a few dollars left at the end of the month she can break more things. Since I am the home owner it is on me to fix.

Especially the garage bill. 2002 Mercedes, they had to replace practically everything. Still waiting on a couple of parts being shipped from Germany.

Cash is always a good gift. No returns or regifting. (Same goes for TP, but that doesn’t seem festive).

And a few cases of wine wouldn’t hurt…

Aunty, the larges bar tab on record was $310,696, and we know how you like to break records. Nobody gonna pay that bill off for you.

Did you mean that you want someone to play the Bills? Spelchek wants to no.

This was an episode of Everyone Hates Chris. The dad immediately got spoiled and asked the kid to pay all the bills after that.
