Not much snow here in Southern California. Has anyone ever seen, or created, a real-life snow-man -woman -monster like Calvin’s?

The Olympics according to Calvin

I LOVE the snowmen.

Calvin’s draws his inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft.

I truly enjoy Cal’s snowmen, A great laugh. Then I wonder why I never gave a thought to doing that type. But, then Virginia has never been a consistently heavy snow catcher, so the time for inspiration was always short.

Interesting how Calvin (and Hobbes) got that snowman to stay upside down!

I used to wonder where he got all that snow. Then I remembered he’s only 2 1/2 feet tall.

Being an artist is hard work, though many may not think so.

I understand that when Calvin grew up, he became a very successful cartoonist.

I like Calvin’s original ideas.

I think golf would be better if it had a defensive aspect. Perhaps combined with trap shooting to bring down a ball in flight.

There must be some money in designing ice sculptures. Maybe a future gig for Calvin?
