My wife started the everything Pumpkin Spice season back in mid-September, she ended it at Thanksgiving. Then segued into the all things Peppermint. That season will end on the 1st. When I say everything, I mean coffee, hot tea, candles, body wash and lotion, etc. I get to where I cannot stand the scents, but it makes her happy.
In pumpkin pie, OK, so long as it’s sensibly measured. But, like most ingredients, that ‘little touch extra’ can often spoil the occasion. And adding it to normally non-spiced drinks is just a waste of time and advertising.

Pumpkin spice: A flavor parasite that seeps, creeps or somehow makes it into almost all foodstuffs in the autumn. Scientists are baffled.

What did the pumpkin pie say to the apple pie?
“You’re crusty, but I’m filling!”littlejohn Premium Member about 1 year ago
“Indulging in pumpkin pie is a sweet opportunity to add some ‘spice’ to your life.”

I avoid commercial “pumpkin spice”, even in the form of pie. None of the few versions I’ve bothered to test are much like my family’s recipe.

I have two questions. What are Ugg boots, and why doesn’t Peter or anybody else on B.C. ever think of wearing their Ugg boots?
NoDice about 1 year ago
I looked up these boots and can honestly say that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pair of them worn here in southern Louisiana.

I’ve worn Uggs for 40 years – before they were discovered by tweens. I’m not going to stop.

You couldn’t pay me to wear uggs. Wait – maybe you can, I’m short on cash right now.

I bought some pumpkin spice pods on sale. They are either old stock or I just don’t like the stuff.

I wouldn’t know what Ugg boots are except Penny on Big Bang Theory wore them all the time and that is how I got familiar with them.
