I sold my old gas lawnmower three years ago and bought an electric one. One of the best moves I ever made. Neither one is self-propelled but the EM is lighter, easier to push, quieter, cuts better and mulches so I don’t have to deal with clippings or hauling gas in a can.
If you put an old lawnmower out on the curb on garbage pickup and recycling day here, someone from around the area will probably come around and pick it up to fix it, use it for parts of it for fixing other lawn mowers, and/or to recycle some of the materials for cash to a recycler.
Ernie could have been one of the guys I worked with as a newspaper display ad rep. His ‘interpretations’ are the essence of advertising in any media. There were over a dozen of us in a large room and the fun part was when we threw ideas and tag lines to get just the right one for clients. Usually worked out well and made the days pass more quickly.

Is this a Tesla lawnmower?

A good salesman could sell a refrigerator to an Eskimo.
A great salesman could sell two milking machines to a farmer with one cow … and take the cow as down payment.

If the motor works, sell it as a go-kart motor.

A lot of people here, including the cartoonist, are trying to wishful think the end of the winter?
