Time to start jogging again

Eh, he tried this time, at least.

But what a drama queen!

Gotta give John and the kids credit for putting up with her without cracking up themselves.

Ever heard the term pouring gasoline on a fire?

Never talk to women about weight. Apparently it’s a sensitive topic for us.

For a minute there, I thought John was spying on Elizabeth…

Actually she looks better in the towel than in most of the dumpy clothes she wears. The towel is drawn so she has a waist and not a slab of midriff fat. And remember Elly, muscle is heavier than fat.

I think the only reason I didn’t gain weight over the holiday is because of making sure to eat more vegetables – it helped with the bloat.

Am I the only one to sense the sexual implications?

For once John says the right thing and Elly still brushes him off. And she’s not fat! Get over yourself Elly!

John, don’t try, men have tried to figure out ‘the right thing to say’ for over 2000 years and we still haven’t found it—who can ? We’re dealing with women ! ! ! !

In the winter you have to remember at the doctor’s to take off your jacket, your fanny pack, your boots, your cell phone (mine weights 8.5 oz.), your keys from your pocket (4.4 oz.), no previous two cups of coffee (16 oz.). That’s a good 6-7 pounds…forgot about heavy jeans, wear leggings!

Honey, just remember; Muscle weighs more than fat!

Throw the scale away. Clearly not a helpful tool.

Way too much said by him. (Nothing would have probably been better.)

The worst: “I still love you anyway.” It might seem okay in your mind. If you’re going to say any of that, leave out the “still” and the “anyway”.

Sounds like a reason to start drinking

Fruitcake not fattening.Cheesecake IS fattening.

And all the low-calorie vegetables that are “good for you” also give you tons of gas.

A gui can’t win against fat ….
